Documenting Jade + Michael’s love story has been so incredibly rewarding, apart from being their sister-in-law, I have been able to professionally document so many different stages in their life. I am so honored.

On the last day of 2023, in Seaside / Rosemary Beach, FL we went to the beach wrapped up in sweaters and jeans to document this season before Baby W made their arrival. At the time, Michael and Jade did not know the gender of the baby as they were waiting until birth. (I can confirm, Baby W is the sweetest baby boy with a head full of hair!) We laughed and during our session counted all of our previous sessions together — this specific session (we think) is #10 that I have shot for them. From numerous couples sessions (AL, TN, VA, FL) to engagements to wedding (which you can look at here) and now to maternity! (We can now add on #11 because I also shot Baby W’s birth!)

I really love the outfits Michael and Jade chose for their shoot. We really loved the idea of cozy on the beach and wanted to make sure we started off with that. Jade wore an oversized Free People sweater and Abercrombie jeans as her first look and an ADORABLE two piece set from Amazon for her second look. I love that she chose the set to end the session in — SO CUTE!

Documenting maternity session is so much more than bump pictures. It represents the bridge between life before baby and life with baby. I am so honored I got to document this bridge for Jade and Michael!
