Boy oh boy. Where to even start? I met Chelsea and Turner over FaceTime last year when they were in the early stages of planning their wedding day. We quickly connected and felt like old friends! I get the sweetest feeling when I can instantly connect with my couples. We met in January to do their engagement session and I felt like I was hanging out with friends! The sweetest! The wedding was at The Brice House in Vidalia, GA and it was so charming and beautiful. I arrived the night before for their rehearsal dinner at The Brice House. The rehearsal dinner was so intimate and sweet.

The morning of the wedding storms started early. Dark clouds filled the sky as the rain started pouring. When I arrived to the venue, I had to sprint inside to keep from getting drenched. I did detail photos in a darker room with a massive window. The little natural that came in gave the photos a romantic feel. After details, I started getting ready photos. During this time, the rain started lightening up. Just in time for Chelsea’s first look with her father, the dark clouds parted. Believe it or not, the rain held off for hours. Chelsea and Turner had their first look next. They chose to have it just the two of them on the covered patio outside. I had the double doors open and was able to shoot through them. It was so intimate.

Their day was filled with love, and joy and friends and family. They had so many people there who loved them. Weddings are so special in this way. All the people who make the journey, near or far, to come celebrate two people in love. Its so special! I am so honored I get to do this job.
